My family have been having Fish & Chips from here for the last 20 or so years, the staff have been friendly throughout that time and the food is always a treat. Sometimes the batter is thick, sometimes not but the chip portions are a healthy size so you'll definitely be well fed here! I recommend calling in advance to make it an even smoother operation in picking up the food in person!

My family regularly treats ourselves to Rainbow Fish Bar’s delicious food. The whole team there are so lovely and welcoming and I would 100% recommend this chippy to anyone in/around the area. The staff are excellent with allergies and they take the time to remember us and have a little chat with us, it feels like catching up with old friends!

Friendly guy. The best thing batter ever and the freshest fish . I had an o.a.p cod and chips .it was cooked perfectly . Hubby popped in for me and he was so impressed . Its a bit of a drive for us but one we won't mind doing . Was delicious

Probably one of the best chippies in Ipswich. The staff are very chirpy and helpful. The only reason. I have only given 3 stars for atmosphere, is that it only has a takeaway service, no seating or restaurant services. The proof that my opinion is shared by many others, is the amount of customers queuing in the evenings most days of the week.
